PROJECT 1(B)

​This project is about making an A3 collage to interpret "Space".

​

Space in the architectural terms has no definite definition. After listening to lectures and researching, I have my own definition of "space". Space is a void created within the boundaries of an area. More commonly, creation of space takes place when enclosed by four walls.



For this project, I decided to create a collage based on the activities I enjoyed doing when I want to rewind and relax. These include reading, listening to jazz music and drinking tea. I also loved to doodle on the wall since I was young. So, the chalkboard wall is a perfect solution to my affinity. There is also a pool in my space because I like the sound of streaming waters. Other than that, I included a fan mainly because I prefer being outdoors with natural ventilation than being in air-conditioned rooms.
