PUBLIC SERVICE AWARENESS VIDEO

The aim for this project is to implement divergent and convergent thinking methods in researching, developing and presenting ideas and conclusions in the form of tangible statements.

For this Public Service Awareness video, each of us were assigned to present a topic we would like to use in our video. Then, we would choose the best topic to film and present it in video form.

I was quite nervous about this project before this due to the reason it is a 60 second short "advertisement" video plus it is suppose to educate the public about serious issues in our society. Nevertheless, one of our group member had a brilliant idea for his topic-AIDS Awareness and we went along with it.

We decided to make sandwich tags, wear it and walk around Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. Everyone was giving us strange stares the moment we put on our "I have AIDS. Can you give me a hug?" sandwich tags. This made me realize how people with AIDS felt and I felt so sorry for them. However, there is one lady from New Zealand who was so supportive of our video. We even decided to film an interview with her!

So do have a look at our video!
